Sage Problem!

Posted by gaea37 Maryland (My Page) on

I'm growing sage on my balcony for 2nd year. Last year seemed o.k. This year...not so good.

There are greyish/white spots (many) on the leaves. Could this be from too much water and not enough drainage?

Please help. I love sage.

RE: Sage Problem!

Sounds like too much moisture. Sage likes hot and dry, so if you've had a wet summer both the rain and the humidity can cause the leaves to rot. Here in Florida, I actually move my sage inside to a south-facing window in the summer.
