Ipomopea Purpurea - Grandpa Ott's

Posted by Candle_Tree Kolkata, India (My Page) on

I had germinated some Morning Glory seeds which were supposed to be Heavenly Blue, but this morning I had my first bloom (Yippee!) and it turned out to be Grandpa Ott's! A stunning purple flower with a rose pink star inside. However, even before it was 10 in the morning the beauty closed and it was one of those cloudy mornings. How sad, I just wanted to enjoy it for a longer period hope, this isn't repeated every morning because I read they are supposed to be around for at least mid-day?

Sorry folks there must be something wrong with this site because when I posted this same message under the subject 'Stumped' it showed that there was already a message under the name. So, I changed it to a new one and posted to find both of them are there!
