I am having trouble finding plants that have nice fragrance and thrive in full sun. Any suggestion is appreciated!

ROSES!!!!!! i have south facing balcony.. very hot lots of sun. but if u want plants that smell good!! roses!!! and you CAN plant full size rose bushes in large containers. i have several mini roses and one large hybrid tea rose. not sure what kind of tea rose it is (will be posting in the "whats that rose forum" :P)they are all literary growing like weeds!! maby even a lilac bush.. I just bought a cherry tree this year. just be prepared to water your plants often. and give them LOTS of food.

Try lavender, it thrives on heat and can be grown in pots, tubs and windowboxes.

If you have room for a small tree (in a pot) there is one called Buddha's Hand citrus which is like a hand-shaped lemon that is very aromatic. I plan to get one soon.

Jasmine may also work well for you, it seems to grow vigourously here in Sydney in sunny places.

Marigolds and nasturtiums are also very easy and colourful. Likewise geraniums - and there are some geraniums with lemon-scented leaves I think.
