any watering tricks?

| Is there an easier way to water all the plants on my balcony than lugging the watering can out multiple times? Is there some contraption that will attach to the kitchen faucet so that a hose can be attached? What are some of the things that all of you do to avoid the dreadful lugging back and forth? |

| You can get a hose adaptor for the kitchen faucet - that's what I use. You unscrew the aerator from the faucet and replace it with the adaptor. I found mine in my local hardware store, and I'm sure you can find one in any of the box stores. A word of advice - take the hose and the aerator from your faucet so you can get the correct size. | Every time I need hot water, while the water's warming up I let it run into a bowl instead of down the drain, and then I dump it into a bucket. When I need to water the plants I bring the bucket outside. Not only do I only make one trip, I save water! |
