I recently received my hinoki seeds and am ready to attempt germination. Any advice on how to go about this. Instructions say to do cold stratification first and then warm. I am wondering what then best medium is for the cold and warm stratification. I was thinking of using rock wool to do the warm. Does this sound right or do I need to add nutrients or should I just plant in my bonsai dish with nutrient enriched soil? How long should I leave the seeds in the refrig before moving to a spot indoors? Any feedback would be helpful.
