What kind of Bonsai

Hello all,

thanks for taking the time to look.

I bought this tree in vietnam 8 weeks ago,it was from the town Dalat,a hill station in southern vietnam.i carried it around south east asia for 6 weeks without killing it and now ive been home and ive got it inside at my back kitchen window (out of any strong sunlight)i would appreciate any comments or advice on how best to care for the tree and also i'd love to know what species it is,(the people i bought it from didn't speak all that much english)

It would help if you posted a clearer photo, one a little closer showing the bark and leaf shape. I wouldn't even try to guess from this one.

It would probably do a lot better outside in shade than indoors. It looks close to going downhill fast.

The perfect ridged bark lines running down the trunk looks very familiar. Google Barbados Cherry images and see what you think.

My first guess:-). Leaves also look to be a match.
