Hey there!
Long time no post, got back from Japan a few days ago and am fighting off the jetlag so I thought I would work on a ficus exotica I posted a few months back.
First pic is of the tree untouched. My bonsai friend took care of my nice trees while gone, but had my roommate just water this tree every other day while I was gone. It didn't grew that much but seemed healthy.

Then I cut every branchlet back to two leaves.

Then spent a couple hours wiring it out. Sorry about the bad pic.

I twisted the apex down cause the tree is too tall. Even after I bent it down several inches the tree is still too tall. I will deal with this another day!
Lots of wire was applied.

I got the apex to a more uniform head than the bushy stage it was in. Its very scraggly right now so in a few weeks of the hot august sun will fill this out more. Its hard to show work VIA pictures but I was very pleased with the outcome.

Suggestions and comments always welcome. What do you think?
Thanks,
