Looks like a schefflera to me.

Again, these leaves aren't quite right. The trunk on a scheff as small as this would probably still be green. When it DOES lignify on a scheff its a bit lighter color than that as well. These look to be single leaves attached to the branches, where schefflera have a branchlet off the branch that has 5 (or so) leaves in a radial pattern.

Scheffs are a bit fussy about branching. This tree is branched pretty extensively.

If I had to guess I'd venture some sort of oak. Thats just a bad guess though.

More pics might get more of a consensus.
