Here is a picture of my Powder Puff (Calliandra haematocephala) blooming for the 2nd time. It is a 5yo tree that I purchased "ready made" a year ago. It is a relative to the Mimosa which grow like weeds here in Memphis.

Once blooming is done it will be time for re-pot. I would like to wait until spring but I suspect it is really rootbound.

where did you purchase your powder puff tree? I'm looking for a small starter plant or seeds and I'm having a hard time finding anything online. Thanks for your info
