Cotoneaster Rescue Before

This Cotoneaster was dying of rot at the nursery so I got it for cheap cheap. It took FOREVER to comb out the roots! They were so tightly bound that I thought it was one plant only to find out it was 2 with a root wrapped around the trunk bases. I carefully separated them and disturbed an ant colony. After flushing them, I concentrated on the one piece that I thought had the best "future" shape and potted it. I potted the other piece as an afterthought but I'm not sure about it yet. If it survives winter, I'll post a photo.:)

Here is the picture of the Before.
