Cinese Elm Help

I got a five year old Chinese Elm For Christmas and need help taking care of it. It's indoors due to the cold weather. Recently I found some green stuff on the branches, some leaves are turning yellow and falling, and some are shriveling up. Is this normal? Please help.

I would recommend learning the basics, watering, light etc... You could read a good amount of bonsai books readily available at your local library or preferably join or visit your local bonsai club where the club members will be more than willing to help.
