| Hi, Manzanita is an uncommon bonsai subject, but if you want to grow it as a bonsai, I think you'll have to do a little research on your own as far as general horticultural factors for that tree go, and research on bonsaing trees as well, beginning with www.bonsai4me.com, www.bonsaitalk.com/forum, and see if you can find a local club to join. I certainly don't know what your tree needs (vs other trees), and growing bonsai cannot just be communicated in a few tips here - it's a very big subject, and growing each tree depends on many factors (as you seem to realize). |
