Where are you keeping it, including temperature, light and humidity? How often do you water, and how do you do it?

Junipers need to be out side and do not water them much at all if they are not growing. Junipers can not live in a house, they are outside only.
You need to answer lucys questions for us to get the full picture. Im going to guess that the plant might not make it.

The turning to pale green is certainly not a good sign. Junipers can sometimes keep their color even after they die, so if you're already seeing the color fade, I don't have a good feeling about this.
From your profile I see you live in Canada. Depending on where, it would indeed be quite a shock to put this outside now if it isn't already, but it should be in at least a cool environment over the winter. Especially in it's current state, it won't need much water at all for a while.
