| Hi, so I am new to bonsai, my parents bought me one for christmas, trouble is, I live in upstate NY for the next few months. It had short green leaves and was beautiful, now they are brown and shriveling. I water it frequently like I was told on the brochure they gave me, but I don't know what I am doing wrong. Please help me. I am worried that, although it gets sunlight against my window, that since it is in the negatives outside, being that close to the window may be killing it? Any advice would be great. |

| You might want to post a photo/link to one unless you know the species. A few problems might be that it's getting too much water, or too much sunlight. Another might be that it's just going through winter if it's not an evergeen/tropical plant. |
