1) I've never made a Bonsai from this type of tree, but generally the leaves on most Bonsai trees will also tend to be smaller, so I can't imagine this tree would be an exception.
2)Sadly, after a fair amount of research, I failed to find anywhere to purchase acorns from this type of tree :(
3) Since this type of tree is found mostly in warmer climates, stratification would be unnecessary. However, if you decide do so anyways, it's unlikely it would have any serious negative effects.
