Large Indoor Tree

Our new house will have an area that we want to put a potted tree. I have considered bonsai's in the past but never had the place for one. The area is about 3 ft wide x 4 ft deep with a ceiling about 12 ft tall. One side is open, one side is stairs up to 3 ft and then open above, and the other 2 sides are wall. There is a south facing window a couple feet away. Would like something that we would maintain at around 7-10 ft tall with a spread of around 3 ft.

Any suggestions and/or pics? Anyone else have a tree this large in their house?

Ficus was the first thing that came to mind but it all depends on how much care and effort you want to devote to the plant.

Any Ficus, Jasmine, citris, Jade, Bouganvilla, Mimosa, etc. Good lose potting mix and put it on wheels so you can turn it once in a while and give it sun all the way around.
