Started a coral tree from scatch- now where do I go?

Hi

A few months ago after attending a local Bonsai show I decided to start growing my own coral tree.

I have transplanted my little tree into a bonsai pot and it has approx 6 leaves, the first two leaves are really large. It is such a great tree to start on as it grows really quickly and it is quite exciting to watch. I feel like a kid again observing the little leaves sprouting and growing.

I started growing it indoors but after hearing that trees don't like to be inside I decided to put it outside in the sun for a day (first mistake I think) as my first two leaves got a bit sun burnt. So I took it back inside and after a while trimmed one of the most sun burnt leaves off (by now it had three leaves so I left myself two).

I have subsequently moved it outdoors permanently to a place that is half shade with a little morning sun.

Please could anyone give me a few beginner tips on how to carry on, when should I first trim my tree or if I should just leave it to grow for a few more months?

Any info for this newbie would be appreciated.
