| Hello, I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of making a thanksgiving cactus into a bonsai.
I saw one on wikipedia and was thinking it might be an interesting experiment to do with some of my cactuses since they take up so much space. I have plenty of time on my hands but I don't know where I'd begin as I can't find much info on where to start with this type of plant. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/3/3a/Zygocactus_bonsai.jpg |

| First, do you otherwise do bonsai - have you ever done any? Second - are you familiar with growing succulents like that cactus, and that cactus in particular? There's a lot to growing bonsai and starting out with a nontraditional plant is going to be a whole other story! |
