A friend of is dropping off 5 small junipers from nursery stock that have been wintering in unheated covered greenhouse. It is still quite cold here and have to make another few months for warmer weather and trees recovering from dormant season. Where, what how and for how long should I do with these trees. Obviously I am not going to bring them inside. I believe an unheated garage would be option. Any other ideas?

I would leave them in the unheated garage. Mine have been in there all winter (three years now) and are doing fine.

I agree, an unheated garage or shed is the best bet. they should be fine and stay dormant as long as they are not subjected to temps. at or over 50 degrees for more than a short period.
