Dying Jasmine bonsai

When I went on vacation for a week, my lovely Jasmine Bonsai got dry and the leaves turned yellow. It has been a week since I watered it and the leaves are all falling off. It has been fine for the 3 years that I have owned it and have had it under a grow light. Any advice on rescuing it would be so appreciated.
Thanks,
maureen

RE: Dying Jasmine bonsai

You may be lucky in that it's just coming into spring now, and plants are programmed to grow. Don't make the mistake of overcompensating by drowning it! Make a firm little scratch halfway up the trunk and if it's green under the bark, you may be ok (just give it a few weeks to recover). If it's all brown or whitish... well, you may not be so lucky, but give it a chance, lots of light, and humidity.
