I received a Gardenia Bonsai as a gift, and I was very excited because I admire both bonsai and gardenias.
The unfortunate thing is, though, that I received it for christmas, and the only sunny spot in my house was the window behind the christmas tree, which was very hard to get to to water.
Excuses, excuses, but now my bonsai is totally dried up and crispy.
I understand that bonsai have very small root systems, and need to be closely monitored so they don't dry out, and that I've made a very big mistake by letting it get this way.
Now,
My question is, is there hope for my bonsai? Should I cut the branches down? I keep watering it in hopes that it will rehydrate and perk up, but it doesn't seem to be working out in my favor.
What to do?
