Hello, I was wondering if I can plant a cherry blossom in a large pot or if I can make a bonsai with it?

Yes, but it has to live outdoors full time - will die inside if it doesn't have 4 seasons, certainly long cold winters.

thanks Lucy, that's great to know!

Though many ornamental cherry trees have very large leaves, not nornally suited to bonsai unless you can get then to reduce. Maybe try a Black Cherry instead or a flowering Apricot(Prunus mume) if you can find one!
