| We were recently at Selby Gardens in Sarasota and my 12 year old son won a bamboo bonsai. It has one shoot about 12 inches tall. We live in Westchester County Ny , he is unsure how to train it and how to care for it. He did some research on the web but was unable to come up with anything. Any help appreciated.

| A true Bamboo, or a "Lucky Bamboo" (which is Dracaena sanderiana)?
