| Mmm, the photos of pepper trees I googled seem to be quite elongated. Note: The photo is a close-up. Each leaflet is smaller than a pink fingernail. |

| It looks like a zanthoxylum odorum. It is what I believe mine to be. I have the same plant and this is the answer we came up with. |
