Please help!!
I'e had my bonsai (chinese pepper) for since last year when I was leaving in London. It was great it grew so fast and was happy there. 6 months ago me and my tree have moved to Emirates. Obviously it's hot and different climate but it was doing quite well Only stopped growing so fast. But few days ago it really started looking as if it's dying. The leaves have got no strengh any more and they come off. I give it a bath every other day, lately every day as got scared. The leaves are dry but still green. What to do??? Please hlp me save my tree!!!!!

Hmmm...why are you watering it so much???
It's a pepper - they don't like "wet feet," as they say. If it were mine, in a sunny location, I'd water maybe every 2-3 days.

First, we need to know what we're dealing with:
1) Type of potting mix
2) Location - light exposure
3) Type/size of container

I overwintered my first pepper this year, and I plan on doing several more next year. I unearthed my pepper in November, removed all soil from the garden, pruned the roots and the upper foliage, and then put the pepper into a smallish (.7 gallon) container with very fast-draining mix: small bark, perlite, pumice, gravel, and a bit of charcoal. Structure is the key: this open mix allows me to water as needed (without fear of root-rot), while enjoying maximum aeration for the roots. I set the pepper in an eastern window, and I take it outside when the weather is warm enough.

On April 28th (Tomato & Pepper Planting Day, around here), I will plant my pepper in the garden - and, come autumn, I'll repeat the bare-rooting process. I'm interested to see how many years I can get out of these plants. My plants are flowering now.

Here are a few pics, for reference:
I sank a container with the bottom removed to help protect the roots, and to make digging easier.

Lately hasn't had much sun As the days hae been grey.
I'd like to post the picture but can't really post it here, it would help so much!.
Maybe too much water?

If it's not getting sun, don't water it.

If the potting soil is soggy, don't water it.

Where did the mix come from? Was it potting soil from a bag?

RE: help save my bonsai!!!

Hey
I got it as it came from the shop in Amsterdam. It didn't say what mix that was. AM not watering since the day before yesterday, gave it a bit of sun now the leaves are turning yellowish. It's rue over past week or so there was no sun but I kept on watering my tree. When I saw it started going downhill gave it even more water. How can I post a picture here? It would be so much easier.Than you Josh
