Fukien tea, flowers die before blossoming.

\Hi, I have a Carmona Macrophylla (Fukian Tea) and absolutely NO bonsai-experience... But, she's alive although i really don't know how well she's doin. Yeah, it has to be a girl. Anywho, i know i'm supposed to get small white flowers but all i get is buds who wither and die before the blossom. Anyone?
I keep som water at all time on a small plate on wich the pot is placed, is this right? It seems to produce new leaves all the time. I don't have any fertilizer, should i get some? And there's not a lot of direct sunlight into my room, I live on a loft with only one roof window. Even though, my room is quite light.
Anyone?

I should have answered before. Check for spider mites, mine is crawling with spider mites all the time but i'm not too worried about flowering right now. I have noticed that once buds swell on mine and are about to open they attack. If everything else seems ok on the tree this could be the problem.
