| I have been working on this maple I got a couple years ago and have been trying to style it. It is my first Bonsai and have no clue how I'm going to approach the styling, just hope I didn't ruin it. What do you guys think is the best way to style it or what style bonsai would this be best suited for?

| Depending on what final height you have visualized for this tree, I would either wire the two side branches so that they are not so vertical slowly filling them out every year, or let them grow wild in order to allow the trunk to thicken and then remove them making your first lowest branch higher up. Keep in mind to two most important characters in bonsai is that the trunk and branches have taper and movement. |
