Is propogation by seed the best/only way to go with growing starter trees from a Kurume Azalea?

Cuttings would be the best and easiest method of propagation for multiple plants. Cuttings allow you to have a new plant material at least 2-3 years ahead of what you would get with seeds as well as gives you an exact clone of the parent plant. Cuttings is the only way I've ever propagated Azaleas before and have never had any problem doing so.
