It's certainly been done, but I think half the battle is learning to keep it alive through a few seasons, and if you do that, why not try to train it?

Well, my mom has had it for almost 2 years, and gave it to me when I got married 7 months ago. It went through the shock of being in a new place, loosing almost all it's leaves. But, right now there is ALOT of new foilage growing. I was thinking about putting it in a bigger pot and adding a little bit of bonsai soil in it (about 25/75 mix since it's used to potting soil). I know that in the wild it can grow into a huge tree with yellow fragrant flowers. So I'm hoping that if I let it be and let it grow for a while I might get a nice trunk on it, and maybe get it to bloom. Do you think it can handle the new soil mix and being repotted at the same time?? If not I might just repot it first and little by little introduce it to the new soil. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I myself don't know how to make one. Maybe we could start from the top.
