| You don't really see too many Dawn Redwood bonsais, and when you do it seems they're all formal uprights or upright group plantings. Well, I went and bought one and now I'm wondering if there's any other style that it would be suitable for. I know that redwoods tend to err on the brittle side, so I'm guessing cascade is out of the question. What about semicascade or literati? any ideas? |

| Have you considered buying some more, and/or even airlayering parts of yours and starting a little forest? You could also think about a slightly windswept style and the literati is a good idea, but I would forget cascades. |
