I bought this (http://imgur.com/a/ZGiZf) yesterday from a local nursery. I'm not exactly sure what I should do right away to shape it, or if I should just let it grow for a while. Here (http://imgur.com/a/fK0Sp) is a 360 degree view and size comparison (http://i.imgur.com/2hGD3Z9.jpg). If you have any tips, I would appreciate it!
I have a south-facing balcony that I can leave it on so it will get plenty of sun. There is a balcony above it which should block it from rain. I also have a fluorescent light for when I need to bring it inside.
I plan on watering it about every 2 weeks, depending on how quick the soil dries or if the leaves wrinkle. This (http://i.imgur.com/sB3Lni3.jpg) fertilizer was included, so I am going to use it every other watering.
This (http://i.imgur.com/jFv73R0.jpg) is the soil that I am going to use when I move it to the bigger pot (if the pot in the pictures isn't too big). It is a mixture of bark, chicken grit, and turface, so it should drain well.
Let me know if anything is unclear or if I need to provide more info. Thanks!
