Indentifing a Bonsai

I was given a small tree by Dennis Blalock of Thurmont MD while I was in the Marines in 2008. He called it a Japanese Good Luck tree. It had orange/red plum like fruit and inch long leaves...It died a couple years back and I had been looking for a replacement but I cant find anything that looks like it. If anyone could help me that would be awesome.

Was it a plum? Or quince, perhaps?

Not sure if this helps, but there are many photos of fruiting bonsai on this page that might help you identify it - https://peterteabonsai.wordpress.com/tag/japanese-bonsai-show/

Here is a link that might be useful: Japanese Bonsai Show
