Hi all!

I am totally new to this forum and would like some advice. I live in Ohio and have a brand new Buckeye that was found when weeding in the local park. It has two adult leaves and a very short taproot at this point. My daughter wanted to keep the tree rather than toss it with the other weeds, but I don't think my yard would be a good home for it. I am wondering if I can turn it into a bonsai, but I'm unsure of how I would go about that. Comments? Advice? Am I crazy?
