 o
spruce repairing broken branches

Hi,
while my sprucetree is not exactly a bonsai, it is a miniature tree that was brought to me by my little son about 25 years ago from the Taunus mountain near Frankfurt, Germany.
I keep it on my balcony and it has reached a height of 46 inches.
Last Thursday I had to take it inside because the whole house is being modernized.
In this process I broke three of the branches and put on splints as soon as I noticed it.
I could imagine a leaf tree would heal, but a pine? Can't hurt trying.
Does anyone have any experience or suggestions with this?
I have read of a substance named tree wax, would that be of any help?
Still hoping
