Help! Urgent'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My bonsai fell from my window and the vase broke...it's still attached to some dirt and it's intact...what should i do for the tree to survive?

Without knowing your plant or the extent of its injury, I will recommend that you put it back into a container and keep it in a shady spot so that it can repair/regrow damaged roots.

Again, without knowing the plant, I can't advise with much confidence.

It's a 5 year old chinese elm. The tree is intact, but lost most of the soil that was in the vase.

Hopefully you re-potted the tree so the roots haven't dried out. Keep it in a shady area with good air circulation for about a week. Then, bring it back into the sun, a bit at a time.

I'm sure others have more expert advise.

I to hope you re potted the tree before the roots dried out!!! needs to be in a bonsai pot not a vase with room for the roots to grow..keep it moist not soaked maybe mist the leaves some. do not do any work on it give it time to get reestablished..hope this helps.re.is this a tree from wal mart or lowes?? if so it needed repotting anyway. john

Yes, i re potted the tree right after it fell... i put new soil and kept it out of the sun and strong winds...but the leaves keep turning yellow and falling off...is it normal?

UP DATE.. Is your tree leaves still turning yellow?? are you just keeping it moist or too much water? i would not feed the tree until it gets established again.part shade is good.let us know what is happening...john

No, the leaves stop turning yellow and new leaves are growing ^__^
