| I live on a hot dry windy bluff in SLC Utah area.
I have a cherry tree and a barkwood elm tree. I have only had them a few summers. Last year I took them to a trimmer guy and he sprayed something on the leaves. I am not sure it was only water as we had a language barrier. I think he indicated that it was some kind of sealer? I have some wilt pruf here but on the label it says not for "slow growing dwarf plants" I did a search for wilt pruf and only 2 threads came up so I am thinking it is not commonly used? I will wait to hear what you guys have to say. Some might not think it is a problem but we get this hot super strong wind out of the desert that blows for days |

| You'd be better off the relocate the trees, or build some kind of windbreak. I've heard of WP being used, but don't know if it's good or not. You don't actually have slow growing or dwarf plants - bonsai may keep them small, but they're not genetic or bred dwarfs. |
