Chinese Elm "seiju" - hardy or not?

I picked up a "seiju" type Chinese Elm seedling thing spring and an trying to determine if it will make it through a Twin Cities winter or not. Can anyone tell me more about this type of Chinese Elm? How fast do they grow?

Marginally hardy in zone 4 in the ground - I wouldn't count on it though. Even if it survives, it might lose some branches and a significant volume of less lignified roots. In a pot, it will need protection - in an attached garage or up against the foundation (north side) of a heated building.
