Acacia bonsai leaves browning

About a week ago my young acacia seedlings started showing signs of leave browning. The leaves then began falling off. I have been watering once a day in the evening once the soil was dry.
Can anyone suggest what might be causing this?
I've attached a picture of the leaves.
