Could anyone tell me specifically, do I need an acidic fertilizer such as Miracid, for White pine and Hemlock bonsai, or would general Miracle Grow do just as well?

Also at what strength and frequency should I water? I use a combination of soil, screened sand and leaf mold as a soil mix.
