Japanese Maple Bonsai HELP!....please :)

Hi guys...thanks for clicking

so last week on my birthday ..i received this gorgeous japanese maple bonsai as a gift.. It is a 3 Acer palmatum 'Atro-Purpureum' bonsai....and thats the only thing i know about it.... ive been researching but i'd appreciate if you had any tips , tricks , and advice to keep my plant healthy and thriving... THANKS!!

It is much too small to be considered a bonsai. You do need to keep it outdoors, and be sure not to over water. Keep it more in a shady area, these love the shade and can burn in the sun. Let the tree grow freely to allow maximum growth so it may one day be used for bonsai. Good luck.

RYAN Is right about your tree..it does look healthy but please do not keep it inside..feed it a little ,do not repot this year . keep it moist and watch it grow.maples make good bonsai.good luck john
