UNDER-watered juniper

Greetings bonsai enthusiasts! This is my first post but I have been following some threads and encountered some useful information here. I am now in need of help on a topic I don't see very much of on the bonsai threads.

I think I may have let my Juniper bonsai completely dry out. Not for long, maybe a couple of hours. It's positioned outside and gets afternoon sun. It's been exhibiting lots of growth and great health up till now in that position.

All the information I have read says that letting them completely dry out for any period is very dangerous for all bonsais. Do any experienced growers of coniferous bonsai know what I should be looking for over the coming days to see if my Juniper has been harmed or, God-forbid, killed?

Many thanks
