| The ficus were at a gas station, the big bougs were in the 'flower park' in Da Lat. I guess the owner of the gas station is into collecting and growing them on for sale but didn't get to talk to him. Most of the gas stations along highway 1 here are decorated with large ornamentals and Bonsai. I would have nosed around a little more but it was already over 100 degrees, we wanted gas, water and to stretch our legs a little. That was only about 5 hours into a 9 hour ride and we were facing a 6,000'+ climb up the mountain to Da Lat. Bob |
