Box tree bonsai problems

I have a small box tree that I bought as a starter bonsai at a nursery almost a year and a half ago. It was doing better than any of the others I bought(2 others) but now its looks like its in trouble. The leaves are green but they're brittle, almost like the leaves are dead but they're not turning brown. The branches and stem are still supple. I know it's an evergreen, and besides I live in South Africa, and we're just entering spring, so it should start growing now even if it was deciduous... (Whimper..)

Are you referring to a boxwood? Was it kept indoors?

Yes, its a boxwood tree. I kept it outside, i only moved it inside after it started looking sick. none of my other trees i kept with it outside are having any problems... do you think its too much or too little of something? or maybe i should repot into a bigger pot?

Boxwoods are often watered much too often, and will look bad fairly quickly if that's done - does that ring any bells? Don't repot now, bad time, plus they grow soo slowly it's likely to be a problem only if it's potted in a lot of peat, for instance, but not necessarily potbound, unless it is - you can tell by sliding it out of the pot in one piece and checking.

If it's spring there, I don't see why it can't be repotted.
