These are the Korean maple seeds that I planted last fall.
The leaves don't have The multi lobed look of Japanese or Korean maples. Are they just immature leaves? Are they a natural hybryd? They all look the same. Take a close look at the leaf on the bottom. This will be posted on the maple forum also.

Some maple trees have leaves that aren't lobed, like the hornbeam maple.

That's what I thought at 1st but I now think the soil the seeds were planted in was contaminated with a weed seed whos leaves look like a hornbeam maple.
The people on the tree forum pointed me in what may be the correct direction.
