I'm sure someone here can help me...

I was thinking of ordering this for someone with advanced breast cancer:

I don't know anything about bonsai, but I did a little research online and have these concerns based on what I read:

1. A "real" bonsai would cost a lot more (over $100), which I can't afford.

2. They need a lot of care.

3. They're not happy indoors.

4. If you don't do everything right, they die. (I don't think the would-be recipient is a gardener.)

I like the idea of a bonsai because flowers die so quickly, and I think that's counterproductive. I wouldn't mind giving her a little bit of something to distract her, but I don't want this to be a burden.

What would you advise? Thanks
