Bonzai palm tree care -- need help

Hi there,

Someone gave me a very cute bonzai palm tree about 10 days ago, but I have no idea how to care for it. A little ticket on it said to keep the moss around it moist. Should I spray the moss daily? The plant is next to a money tree that I spray daily so it would be easy to spray the bonzai too. Or does it need a good drink every so often?

When we got the plant, it looked so good that we thought it might be plastic, but then we noticed some small insects on it, so figured it must be real. I sprayed it with Raid to get rid of the bugs. Then we went away for a week. Upon our return yesterday, I noticed that the tips of its 4 palm leaves are browning, so I would like to know how to care for it so it stays happy and healthy. Any advice most welcome!

P.S. I just found the tag that came with the plant. It's a bonsai sago palm (Cycas revoluta). Instructions say "Maintain planting mix on dry side." I'll try watering once a week and see how it does. Any other advice is still most welcome.
