Verigated Ficus cascade

Stumbled onto this in another nursery, the last shot is after I finished the wiring and final pruning for now. It's 34" from top to bottom of the tree, it was growing vertical but had some potential as a cascade. Didn't show any shock and has started to put out a lot of new growth.

The pot will be changed in the future...found the right pot 'after' it was already in this one.

This was taken just after re-potting and the first wiring was done.

Wow!
This will produce an interesting cascade of leaves!
Will you allow it to re-leaf, as in the last pic?

Gorgeous!

Thanks guys...

It will be close to that but with smaller 'pads' of more well defined foliage in the 5 areas. I need to begin to wire the individual pads to get the right breadth and shape to them then allow them to fill in.

It will also look much better in the other pot I found recently.
The plant is responding well and is putting out new leaves all over the place. We have a big festival in town every year for the Tet Holiday and I want to display it there next year. If they accept it the tree will be the first ever shown by a foreginer here in Tuy Hoa...whooohooo!!!

That would be quite an honor, as well as a cool addition to one's bonsai résumé!
