have a desert rose the leaves look good but the trunk or bottom shrank looks wrinkled. what is going on?? almost no roots either. thank you in advance. john

They don't have a lot of roots, and the wrinkles could either mean it needs water, or has had too much. Normally they're only watered monthly if that, though possibly more in spring/early summer, and even less in winter, so you'll have to judge which it is. Plus is it getting all the sun you can give it? I hope it's outside now, til the fall anyway.
