| A few weeks ago, I collected a trumpet vine while weeding, put it in a pot, and was planning on planting in my yard to go over an arbor. But today I was looking at it and noticed a maginificent, curling "trunk" and some natural deadwood as well. I then proceeded to raise the trunk out of the soil and am now planning on training it for bonsai. What do you think? |

| I've never seen a trumpet vine as a bonsai but other vines such as winteria and grape make good bonsai so I say go for it. |
