Posting pics in the gallery

I've tried, for a few hours, to post some pics of my trees in the gallery here. Every post is 'rejected' for some reason.

I do have a Facebook page which I keep up on, there is an album there of my trees and some others in Viet Nam. I have currently picked up a few mums (always wanted to try) to begin to style as bonsai.

My albums are open for all to view and it only takes a minute to register for Facebook. The name is Bob Johnston, when you search and if too many of 'me' search for Bob Johnston Vietnam. I will continue to try off and on to post some pics in here.

Bob

RE: Posting pics in the gallery

A lot of people put a link here for pages on e.g. Photobucket (some gallery type site that hopefully won't have a huge number of cookies with it as Facebook might). Other than that, I don't post myself and don't know what to tell you (but others might).

Ya, that's why I figured it would be just as easy if they went to the facebook page. The album of my trees is getting pretty big and there are some others of Bonsai nurseries I've visited...we've got about about a dozen here in town alone.

If you want us to see your pix, wherever they are, please post a link. Thanks.

Hope this works.

It keeps rejecting my postings, maybe this one will work.

Your second link seems to work. The problem, Bob, is that many people don't want to register for Facebook. That's why I just post all my pictures here, in-Thread. Yes, it can make loading a bit tedious for those with slower connections, but I hope that's fewer than 25% of the posters.

Ya Josh, don't know what happened to the extension in the first one. I'm using that to keep people back in the states up to date on what's going on here. It's better than most sites like it because there is no spam at all. I will try again in the future to post some pics in thread.

My problem is that, although I have ADSL, I'm also surrounded by internet cafe's so my time for any decent speed is between midnight and about 5 AM most days...when it isn't down.
